The Society of Malaysian Contemporary Composers (SMCC)

The Society of Malaysian Contemporary Composers (SMCC) aims to: 

  1. unite the contemporary music communities in Malaysia, promote Malaysian contemporary music by Malaysian composers;

 

  1. work closely with educational bodies to arouse interest in contemporary music especially among young people; 

  1. represent and achieve recognition for Malaysian contemporary music communities in the local and international music circles and;

  1. serve as a platform for musical exchanges among contemporary music societies from all over the world.
